Michael Stürner (University Konstanz, Germany)

Studied law at the Universities of Würzburg, Geneva and Munich. In 2000 - Magister Juris at Lincoln College, University of Oxford. In 2002 obtained his doctorate from Dagmar Coester-Waltjen in Munich with a comparative law work in civil procedure law. Until 2012 taught at Heinz-Peter Mansel in Cologne, LMU Munich, University of Frankfurt (Oder). Since 2012 he is a professor at University of Konstanz to the chair of civil law, international private and procedural law and comparative law. Since 2013 he is also a judge at the Higher Regional Court.

Neil H. Andrews (Cambridge University, UK)

Professor of Civil Justice and Private Law. Studied at Brasenose College, Oxford, (B.A., 1st class in Law, 1980; B.C.L., 1st Class, 1982), and a member of the teaching staff, Cambridge University since 1983.  Called to the English Bar in 1981; Bencher of Middle Temple, 2007, and a member of the American Law Institute. Also a Council Member of the International Association of Procedural Law. Neil has recently given articles in Germany, Italy, Japan, France, Brazil, and the Netherlands.  He has acted as an expert on aspects of procedure and contract law in transnational disputes centred in New York and Europe.
