The author considers the issues of formation of the composition of the Supreme Court in light of recent changes in the law dealing with the reorganization of the judiciary in the Russian Federation. Article raises the problem of moral and psychological qualities of the judiciary, the absence of such criteria in the selection of candidates for judges of the updated Supreme Court. Diagnosis of the level of consciousness of each applicant judge has became particularly important in the domestic conditions, because the average level of consciousness in the Russian Federation, according to experts, is around the mark of two hundred points on the scale constructed psychological personality. This circumstance requires a choice among all candidates the most deserving ones taking into account the level of their personal consciousness. The truly wise and noble people are not so many, but they are. Search these people on the high and responsible position is a primary concern of the state. Judge must be a spiritual aristocrat willing to devote themselves to the ideals of justice and not simply ready for template work and endless routine affairs.
