Commentary on the Institution of Commercial Courts of the Russian Empire 1832

In the article the author reveals the history of formation and development of commercial vessels in the Russian Empire, as well as procedures for dealing with commercial vessels. Le article presents commentary to the standards and regulation of the procedure of the cases (Arts. 64–144 of the Institution of Commercial Courts). Proceedings in commercial courts in accordance with the Institution of Commercial Courts that is subdivided into «external», i.e. order of interaction with other jurisdictional agencies, and «internal», i.e. proper consideration of the case. Proceedings followed two orders: verbal arguments of the parties and written production. Verbal arguments of the parties were regarded as common procedures for dealing with commercial courts and written proceedings, conducted only at the request of the parties, in complex cases, and consisted in the exchange of documents between the litigants.
