Law and Economics as a Prospective Method of Civil Procedure Research

The presented article is an attempt to show the perspectives of economic analysis of law application as a method of legal phenomena’s investigation in the Russian Federation by the example of contemporary civil procedure. A brief review of Law and Economics essence, its varieties and role in civil procedure analysis is given. As a result some conclusions on methods of increasing Russian civil litigation efficiency are offered.
