The article is devoted to the development of a system of forms of protection of legal interests
as an independent legal permission. The study is based on the idea of the difference between
legal interests and subjective rights, arising from the essential properties of legal intereststhe
incompleteness of legal regulation, leading to less, in comparison with the subjective
right, the legal guarantee in achieving the object of legal possibility (social good). This
difference inevitably affected the nature of possible attacks on the legal interest and affects
the system of ways to protect them. Thus, the first of the differences is the presence of
a legal interest pre-realization phase of the relationship and its inherent disputes (when
the behavior of the interested person due to controversy or insufficiency is not able to form
a legal fact that serves as the basis for the legal relationship to implement the interest). In
addition, the system of methods of protection of legal interests does not include the notary
as an institution of protection of undisputed law, whose activities are associated with the
application of a normative legal model of legal relations. Protection of interests in all cases
is connected with the need to develop a reference model of the disputed legal relationship
to be applied by the subject providing protection, which is incompatible with the nature of
notarial activity. The applicability of certain methods of protection of legal interests within
certain forms is substantiated.
