Mandatory Mediation: Arguments «For» and «Against»

In the article the author analyzes the requirements for nominations of mediators, as well as the possibility of establishing mandatory mediation for certain categories of civil cases. The author gives examples of establishing mandatory mediation procedures in the history of the Russian state. Author expresses criticism of the establishment of mandatory mediation.
