The article examines some of the proposals of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation
on the largest reform of civil proceedings, so-called “procedural revolution”. In the article,
the author criticizes some provisions of the draft law proposed by the Supreme Court of the
Russian Federation. According to the author, it requires a serious discussion. The conclusion
is formulated about the idea that today it is not the destruction and abandonment of what
has been created in modern times, taking into account the existing legacy of procedural
thought, but it is a careful selection and “polishing” (refinement) of the proposed concepts by
Russian scientists (without ignoring the best achievements of foreign doctrine and practice
in the field of justice). The author of the article argues that such important draft laws
should be subjected to more serious expert analysis by specialists from different schools of
law, since valuable scientific heritage in the field of civil procedure, did not have a serious
influence on the draft federal law called.

Keywords: basic postulates of civil procedure; judicial reform; normative model of
production; motivation of the judicial solution; review of judicial practice.
